The photo that started it all. Picture this: Allie is scrolling through hinge, as a single gal does, and comes across THIS photo. It strikes her on multiple levels: the jorts, the high socks, the POSE, but most of all the familiarity of it. So she decides to be bold and reach out to say, "Have we matched before? Because this photo is ~unforgettable~." She gets a reply from him pretty quickly, "I think so- if I remember right, we matched, you told me all about your cosplays, and then we just never met or continued talking." Allie is REALLY bad at texting people back, so this makes perfect sense. But this time around, she means business, so she asks him if they could meet that week, on a Thursday, for a meal. William says yes.

So on a random Thursday in July, Allie and William met in person for the first time. The restaurant was a British pub with wild scattered decor, but a decent little patio area. She showed up in her favorite comfy romper, and he showed up (to her amusement) in the jorts. Now there are finer details of this date that we will leave out, but two important things must be known: 1. It was an amazing date full of laughter and bonding, and 2. The date ended with a competition on who could kick the highest (and no matter what Will says, Allie won).
